As promised, I've added a second giveaway, a set of four linocut, blank note cards from my  Yas Art Design Card line. They come with a vellum insert, so you can give the card as a gift, that can be matted and framed.

February  2, 2010. Ta, da, the napkins for the third giveaway are pictured below. 100% linen, upcycled (I buy them at thrift stores, launder, then fold into patterns and low water immersion dye.) Mmmmhhh, I'm thinking a green salad and maybe some corn chowder.

February 1, 2010. Beautiful Monday and welcome February. Busy day, sun is disappearing and I still haven't taken any images of the third giveaway. Bear with me tomorrow is another day.

January 31, Sunday. Happy Sunday. Well I've learned to edit my comment permissions for One World, One Heart travellers. I'm on 340 something and it's so much easier to visit each blog, and leave a meaningful comment when there aren't what ever you call those copy this strange phrase thingies to contend with.

Tomorrow, after I heat set and do a final synthrapol wash, I'll post a third giveaway, a set of four table napkins. These are a new product immersion dyed (supposedly more eco friendly, but still require a great deal of water to rinse out), on upcycled cotton and linen.

So glad to have thought of this item, gives me a reason to haunt the thrift stores between San Diego and Los Angeles, one of my favorite trips.

Wednesday, January 27th. I managed to visit quite a few blogs today. Happy to see so much great work, a little saddened that so few folks are working in surface textile design processes. Guess those of us who create fabric need to get out there and pass the skills and knowledge around more often.

Tomorrow I'll sweeten the giveaway pot with a set of block print, blank greeting cards from my new spring/summer line. Hope everyone is having fun.
