YAS dress - contemporary creative clothing


What I do
The YAS dress collection consists of designs created on recycled bed sheets using traditional textile hand and digital art processes. Each quarter a new design collection consisting of two major designs and numerous coordinating patterns are uploaded to PAOM. Every piece in the collection is intended to coordinate with other pieces in the collection.

Print All Over Me
Every quarter, the Print All Over Me garment and soft goods team designs a limited edition collection, shown on the website as white blanks. Edition 4 is now available for textile designers and artists to create, upload and position designs onto the garment blanks. Like magic, the garment is complete with pattern and print.

Pictured in the collages are YAS dress designs on Edition 3 blanks and garment blanks from a wonderful new feature on PAOM called virtual fashion show. The Edition 3 garments will remain available until October 1, 2014, when the YAS dress fall/winter collection will debut. Perfect fit with Alix's jewelry and Arche shoes.

Are you beginning to get the mix and match idea? Now visualize what happens if you start with a LBD and add just one piece from the collection for an accent. A hoodie with a tunic and leggings? White boy friend shirt with jeans and a trench? Double breasted, man tailored jacket with a boho skirt? Mid calf length, full, chiffon skirt with the cropped mock top?

My favorite look? The short sleeved cropped top with the body con skirt, leggings and arche boots. I'd throw a trench on, but I live in California and even I am not bold enough to wear a hooded trench coat in 100 degree weather.

The Dye Garden

The idea of the dye garden is very simple. Request dye plant seeds from me, or buy your own and begin your garden. Doesn't matter whether you have an acre, a small backyard, a window sill or a balcony. See below for links on how to get your seeds started. I've ordered indigo seeds from Botanical Colors (Madam Magyar), Blue Light Junction (grown in Baltimore, MD) and Ossabaw Island, GA (Mayan Blue). Soon indigo seeds should be arriving from my friend Kiri in Brazil.   In addition to the indigo seeds, I also have weld, woad, coreopsis, black hopi sunflower and madder seeds.  This seed variety will produce a full spectrum of colors. Primary colors when used individually in a dyebath, and a host of secondary and tertiary colors when combined. Facebook, Friends, Family, Business Pages, Groups

Lots of blah, blah, wee going on about FaceBook and 25 friends, business pages no longer the be all end all, and having more meaningful interactions with family, friends and in groups.
